Cultural differences

As I was speaking to a friend about her experience in Span, i told her mine, when I visited Europe last winter, the topic brought me back to sociology class where we discussed different cultures and finding things weird or overal different from another culture way of doing things. For example when I was in Paris in terms of not being able to understanding the language, realizing that some terms that meant one thing in the US may not have meant the same over there. How people spent there time, the things people valued being different, trying different kinds of food and even the way they combine meals. Another thing that stood out, was there not being many people of color that understand me or where i came from just having completely different experience that were not relatable at all. There way of life just being way more relaxing then NYC those are just a few vague ones. But I would love to know others people experience of cultural differences, so share If you want

My name is Anjolay Hernandez, I’m from Brooklyn New York, I’m artist, creator, and inspiring filmmaker. I’m currently majoring in Video Art Technology and plan on transferring to a four-year college in the fall, preferably Purchase, or Brooklyn College in hopes to learning more and being able to master my craft in film. Beside from school I enjoying observing people, in different communities and how people interact with one another. I love learning different things, for any bit of information or understanding something can be resourceful to story telling or sparking any new ideas that allows me to create. What makes me happy is being able to be creative, whether its coordinating a cool, retro outfit with a simple piece found from a thrift store, redecorating a home, by changing a wall color and adding a midcentury Eames lounge chair or recording someone for a hour doing nothing and having the power to edit the video to make someone look like a mass murdered is absolutely incredible.
